Nils Amadeus Lange works as an artist, performer and choreographer. After our invitation, Nils invited Yasmina Haddad, who, together with Andrea Lumplecker, is the founder of the school, a space and collective in Vienna. The school’s main series Performative Screenings focuses on the screening as a frame, and defines a specific realm within selected artistic positions that employ performative strategies and relate to (political) realities. Nils and Yasmina discuss different ideas of stages and staging, the spaces for performance in different institutional frames and alternatives to performance art as an entertainment break at exhibition openings.

Hanne Lippard works with the medium of writing, through performances and readings as well as sound recordings and installations. Within the variation of these formats, the voice is her main medium. We talked to Hanne about immaterial and embodied practices in an object-oriented culture and asked her to share her thoughts on lazy and not lazy6 sound artists with us in a talk and sharing of her works on infrastructures and conditions.
